DOG FASHION

Take a look at these ANIMAL FASHION pictures-

http://www.poshpuppyboutique.com/

What level of education/skill/training do you think the photographers for this site possess?

Do you think YOU could control animals enough to get them to 'pose' for you?

Would it be easier or harder to pose/control a dog or a person? (I won't even ask about a cat...)

Would you ever consider PAYING someone to take a good portrait of your pet?

You have to be able to have patience because dogs are not easy to take pictures of let alone putting clothes on them and then taking a picture of them. I think if the person was able to get a couple of pictures without the dog or other pet moving. Its harder to control a dog then a human because dogs are way quicker at moving then humans and they are harder to pose. No i would take meaningful pictures of my pet because those are the ones that count.

I think you would have to be very patient with the animals to get them to do what you want them to do. I don't think I could control animals enough for them to pose for me because I don't have a lot of patience. It would probably be harder to pose/control a dog because you can't communicate with them like you can with humans. I would consider paying someone to take a picture of my pet if I had the extra money.

If I were to pose my dogs, I wouldn't be able to make them pose properly. Even if a dog might be easy to control sometimes, I think having a human pose would be easier. i would never pay anyone to dress up my dog or take photographs of them.

i think you should probably have some sort of dog training skills, and photography skills. I think it all depends on the animal. I think animals might be easier, because they naturally do cuter things. I don't think i would pay someone, and i don't have a pet.

I think I can control a dog enough to get it to pose for me because they are not that wild. I think it is easier to control a person because they will be able to understand me. No I think I can take a good picture of my dog even though I'm not a pro.

I don't think these photographers were very good or very experienced. I think that it would be easier taking photo's of dogs then taking pictures of little kids. I could definitely control the dogs enough to get ome good photo's.

It would take a lot of prior knowledge of dogs, but they make them do really dumb poses and wear weird things and costumes. Using different sounds and toys might control a dog to make a pose. If someone was a professional with a good portfolio, I wouldn't see any problem with paying them to photograph my dog.

I think it would require a lot of patience and control to get the right pose and message across in their pictures. I think I'd be able to control animals enough to get them to pose for me, but that depends on how behaved the dog is. I think it would be easier to control a person because they understand what you're saying to them where as dogs don't understand. If I had the money to pay someone to take a picture of my dog I would only consider it if I was going to sell my dog.

I think the skill level this requires is average. I think I could get a dog to pose for me if I had dog treats. I think a person because they have more facial expression than dogs do. Im not sure I would pay someone to take a picture of my dog because I could just take it.

I think that you would have to be patient with the dogs because they would be moving around. Yes I think that I could make the animal sit there and pose for me to take a picture. I would maybe consider paying someone to take a photo of my animal.

I don't think it matters what education/skill/training you have and I think I could get animals to 'pose' for me but it would depend on the animal I guess. I think it would be for a dog because they don't understand what you want them to do and you can't just place them and expect they'll stay that way. I think so because I see my pets as family members but not like super duper expensive, I wouldn't do that for myself anyway.

There is absolutely no way i could ever take pictures of dogs. I suck at controlling animals. Id rather control people and i hate doing that. I guess my dog is the only exception. i could take pictures of him all day. hes so cute and obedient.

I think that so long as you have some sort of patience, and understanding, you can get a good shot. I think that if I had them in a controlled area, and was flexible, I probably could. I think it's easier to get a dog to pose because we have lower expectations for how the shot will come out- we'll be surprised more, and like what we do more because of that. I wouldn't, because I can take it myself(:

I don't think that you need very much skill to take a picture of a dog. if you had a snack in hand and told them what you wanted them to do im sure they would for a treat. i would not pay any one to take a picture of my dog when i could do it for free.

I don't think the photographers have to be very experienced to take these pictures. I love dogs and I'm really good with them so I think I could be able to control them and get them to pose. The animal fashion photographers need to have patience, quick reflexes and lots of time. It could take hours to take a perfect pet picture, or it could take minutes-depending on the animal. I know I can control my dogs to cooperate for me by holding a treat while I'm taking the picture. It would be harder to control an animal because we can talk to a person but pets don't understand us. I would consider paying a photographer to come over and take a picture of my dog because they in fact are part of our family and I love them dearly. However, I take some really professional looking pictures of her so I don't think one would be needed.

I think someone would have to have a lot of work with animals. I know i could never do that, because i'm very impatient and couldn't wait to get that perfect picture. I don't think this takes too much skill to take pictures of dogs. The main problem would be to make the dogs behave for you and I don't think I would be too capable of that. I think that most people have some level of education and to do good photography they probably took a class but I doubt it was anything difficult. Yes I do I make my 15 hundred pound horse pose. For some one to get shots like this they would need to be or have a dog trainer or a very well trained dog to work with. They probably need some patience, of course normal photography skills, and animal training skills. To a point yes. They use dogs that have been trained to do this, so Im not sure if its that hard. I think to be able to photograph pets you have to be able to control their mood. But usually when you dress pets up in clothes, they act different and are more frozen and not as active. I don't think I could control a dog to photograph. Whenever I try to take pictures of my dog, she wont look at me and acts like the camera is a monster. I think photographing animals would be the same or at least close to photographing babies. You have to be able to capture their attention and take a ton of pictures just to get a couple good ones. Older people would be somewhat easier since they can understand you. I personally wouldn't pay someone to take a picture of my pet. I already have some. And the ones I have show more character because they are doing what they always do. Not just sitting in a white box with little boots on.

Anyway, I think you'd need some dog training to be able to get them to listen to you and stay in one spot while you photograph them. I think it would be hard to actually control an animal and get them to 'pose.' It's more like taking shot after shot until you get one where their actually looking at the camera. I think the photographers skill is needing to be patient with the animal and friendly but demanding on what you want it to do, I think that mostly anyone could get their dog to sit and stay for them to take a picture I know I can, just the little dogs might be harder to control cause their just full of energy. I think it's easier to pose and to control a human more cause they can move their body and control to hold still better then a dog can, cause they can only hold for so long.
