I would rank Ansel Adams as a 3, Bill Atkinson as a 1, and Andy Goldsworthy as a 2. I picked Ansel Adams as the "loser" because I though his nature pictures were kind of dull, and there wasn't color in them. I picked Bill Atkinson as the best because I thought his work was really pretty and they really caught my eye.
B. Watson Period:1
i think that the layers of rock is a 1 and a rock on top of a rock is a 2 and the picture of a canyon is a 3.
I selected the layers of rock to be number one because it shows the beauty of nature and millions of years of work. the canyon is a 3 because anybody could go to a canyon and take a picture of it.
G.Taylor P.1
my top choice would be Mr.Adams , then Goldsworthy, and last Atkinson. I think Adams is the best, because his picture are so real, and raw. the reason I put Goldsworthy last was because to me there was nothing special to his pictures.
Out of all these photographers, I put Bill Atkinson as 1, while Andy Goldsworthy would be 2, and Ansel Adams as 3. I chose Bill as #1 because of the bright and vibrant colors in his photos, and the attention to detail in those pictures. As for Ansel, his B&W pictures aren't as interesting, mainly being that his pictures don't show the colors of nature.
J.Richardson P.1
1.) Atkinson
2.) Adams
3.) Goldsworthy
Atkinson, for me, was the "best" because I enjoyed the rawness of his work. It was very... serendipitous. He happened across these beautiful things and made them timeless. Now, I want this to be clear - Goldsworthy is not a loser. I really enjoyed his stuff, but the fact that he messed with nature takes a bit of the appeal away. I did enjoy the surreal effect he had though!
They were all interesting, and inspiring(:
AGonzalez P.1
Bill Atkinson-3, Andy Goldworthy-2, Ansel Adams-1. Bill's was the best because the pictures are not only really cool but the color's were amazing. Ansel is the "loser" because there was nothing that popped, I mean the pictures were pretty but it needs color to them.

A.Johnson P.1
The best one would be Ansel adams and then Andy Goldsworthy and then finaly Bill Atkins. Ansel was the best because his were awesome shots mostly all in black and white and they looked awesome. Bills pictures were just ok. They were pretty good shots but nothing special caught me eye.
Bill Atkinson 1. Andy Goldsworthy 2. Ansel Adams 3. I like Bill Atkinsons photography the best because of all the unique blends of color, whether it be in the rocks, leaves, or forest photos. I like how he tied them all together and made them work as one.
K.Derschmidt P.1

My ranking of the three photographers in order from best to worst are Bill Atkinson, Andy Goldsworthy, and Ansel Adams in last. I chose Bill Atkinson for first because I thought that the rocks he photographed looked really cool and probably would look great blown up to the size of a wall, the picture was really high quality and that showed when I zoomed in. Ansel Adams deserved last because I just didn't understand the message he was trying to convey, his photos seemed a little boring and unappealing to the eye.
T. Losness, Period 1
My favorites in order from 1 to 3 are Bill Atkinsons, Andy Goldsworth and Ansel Adams. I picked Bill as my favorite because his pictures are full of color and have lots of variety. My least favorite was Ansel because there is not much color to his work but I do like how the shadows compliment the structures.
M Silva P. 1
I would rank Ansel Adams as 3, Bill Atkison as 2, and Andy Goldworthy as 1. I picked Ansel Adams as the loser because he's pictures didn't have many colors, and it just didn't look that good. I picked Andy Goldworthy as the best because his pictures are crazy and the most interesting.
S. Matheson Period.1
My favorite one is Goldsworthy's experimental idea, my second is Atkinson's work, and my least favorite one is Adams ideas. I like Goldsworthy's because I think it is extremely interesting and fascinating. I chose Adam's as my least favorite because I think his pictures are sort of boring to compared to Atkinson's and Goldsworthy's work.
D. Riley P.1
1- Bill Atkinson
2- Andy Goldsworthy
3- Ansel Adams
I think Bills work was very beautiful and it just caught my eye. The reason Ansel came in last was because i think her work is boring, yes it is traditional but it just wasn't really what i like.

c.brewer period 1
i would have to rate Ansel Adams as a 2, Bill Atkinson as a 3, and Andy Goldsworthy as a 1. I selected the best to be the best because it is more interesting and appealing to to the eye. I selected the loser to be the loser because I have seen many other pictures of the same things over and over again, just go look at a post-card holder and you can see many of the same pictures.
S.McQuown period 1
I like Andy Goldsworthy the best, ansel Adams second, and Bill Atkinsons least. Andy goldsworthy is my favorite because in his work, hes uses natural colors. I like bill Atkinson's least because the colors are so loud and in your face. They overwhelm me.
T.Hess P.1
I would rank Ansel Adams first, and Andy Goldsworthy second, and then Bill Atkinson third. I ranked Adams first because his pictures involve uniqueness and shows examples of how the surroundings are interfering with each other. I ranked Atkinson third because his pictures are stuff we do see and can photograph our selves its not really unique.
V. Smith P.1
1.Atkinson
2.Goldsworthy
3.Adams
I chose Atkinson as my favorite because his work is vibrant, and it caught my attention much better than the other two photographers did.
The reason Adams was my least favorite was because of how bland his work was. It seemed similar to other pictures I've seen before and the black and white was boring for every picture he took.
1.Atkinson
2.Goldsworthy
3.Adams

The reason Adams was my least favorite was because of how bland his work was. It seemed similar to other pictures I've seen before and the black and white was boring for every picture he took.
M.Christensen p.1
My order from best to worst goes like this: Bill Atkinson, Andy Goldsworthy, Ansel Adams. I put Bill Atkinson in first because his pictures are good quality. By that i mean he really shows good part of the natural area he's in making you get a good feel of how it is there. Ansel Adams got last place with me because i couldn't understand the message he was trying to get across.
The order that I have for these pictures is that they first one is 1-3 and I give the second one a 2-3 and Last I give a 3-3. I thought the first one was the best because of the way he took the photo and made it look with the shadow. I put the last one as the worst because it looks like a bunch of colors not good enough to even look like nature.
A.Deeds P1

I liked Bill Atkinson best, then Andy Goldsworthy, lastly Ansel Adams. I liked Bill's pictures best because they were very bright and interesting. I didn't like Ansel's photos because they were very dull and boring.
A.Champ p.1.
I would give B.A. a 1. A.A. a 2. and A.G. a 3. I thought that B.A. was the best because he was the happy medium between the other two. A.G. was just not as good as the other two.
-A. Haunschild Per.1
1. Bill Atkinson, His photos were really cool, they were all ill nature but they were so pretty they almost look unrealistic.
2. Ansel Adams, his photos made me feel like i was actually there and they weren't photos!
3. Andy Goldsworthy, I didn't understand his photos, and they didn't not seem very interesting because they were so simple and boring!
E.Zitzelberger P.1
1. bottom picture 2. top picture 3. middle picture. I thought the bottom picture was the best because it has all of the cool colors all mixed together. I thought the middle picture was the worst because its not even that good of a picture its just a rock balancing on another rock.
K. Nagel P.2
Bill Atkinson 1st
Andy Goldsworthy 2nd
Ansel Adams 3rd
I picked Bill Atkinson as the best because I like how he uses the colors.
Ansel adams was third because even though his pictures were good I think the black and white get boring after a while
A.Thomson P.2
Ansel Adams - 1
Bill Atkinson - 3
Andy Goldsworthy - 3
A.Boland P.2
I would rank Andy Goldsworthy 1st, Ansel Adams 2nd, and Bill Atkinson 3rd. I like Goldsworthy picture a lot because its clear, and has lots of colors. I picked Adams 2nd because I like the views and its cool looking. And third Atkinson because its kinda bland looking and I dont really like the color of the rocks.
T.Fryett P.2
The rock on top of the rock is 1, the rock with colors is 2 and the canyon is 3. I think they are all cool but the canyon is to unoriginal. The rock on top of the rock is cool because it is original.
D.Jansen P.2
My preference form most to least would be Atkinson, Goldsworthy, and then Adams. Atkinson takes really bright and vibrent pictures that are really unique, Goldsworthy takes really unique photos, but not very natural since he manipulates them, and Adams just takes black and white normal photos. I didn't care for Adams because it was a little plain and didn't seem that interesting.
M McClure P. 2
I would rank Ansel Adams a 3, Bill Atkinson a 2, and Andy Goldsworthy a 1. I ranked Ansel Adams a 3 because the lighting he choose in all of his pictures really drew me in and made me want to look at more. The loser, Andy Goldsworth is the loser i chose because his pictures seemed too staged, i would much rather look at natural pictures that don't look staged.
M.Preston P.2
Billy Atkinson 1
Andy Goldsworthy 2
Ansel adams 3
I chose Billy first because I though it was pretty.
The last one came in third because I just didn't find the pictures as appealing as I did to the others.
A.boland p.2
I'd put Bill Atkinson in 1st then Ansel Adams 2nd and Andy Goldsworthy in 3rd. I chose Bill for 1st beacuse i really liked the bright vibrant colors and the angles he used. Andy was 3rd because i like Ansel more than him. his pictures are good but i just liked the other two more.
K.Morello P.2
The best photo is the single rock on top of another rock. That one is the best because its something you dont see everyday. The secound best is the colorful one. I Iike that one because its bright and bold also its in your face! The last wone would be the black and white one because its just so blah and not fun. Nikole kruger prd 2
I think the Bill Atkinson is 3rd. This picture looks really obnoxious and a bit fake. The Andy Goldeworthy is 2nd. It's a little bland but it's still really cool. The Ansel Adams is first in my opinion. Out of the three, it looks the best when it comes to what is shows.
K.Seibold
Least was the middle picture my favorite was the last one and the the top one was a 2. I picked andy goldsworthy as my favorite because its colorful and beautiful. my least favorite was bill atkinson because it was so blahh like nothing special to it or about it.
A. sprague period 2
I chose Ansel Adams as number three. Andy Goldworthy as number two. That leaves Bill Atkinson at number one. i chose the loser, Ansel Adams because his photos are very dull. Not much color and not much to look at. Number one was chose because he has a lot of cool colores and many other things to look at!
T.Beard Per.2
1)Bill Atkinson: because I love color flower and rock color textures.
2)Andy Goldsworthy: because I like the way of the nature is positioned and the artist sculpting is a true master piece.
3)Ansel Adams: because I don't like black and white photos that much. And because I am very picky on my photos that I like.
Bill Atkinson photos were my favorite. They look unreal and pretty. I'd give it a 1! I didn't really like Andy Goldsworthy was my least favorite. His pictures were kinda boring. I'd give it a 3.
C. Rankin

2)Andy Goldsworthy: because I like the way of the nature is positioned and the artist sculpting is a true master piece.
3)Ansel Adams: because I don't like black and white photos that much. And because I am very picky on my photos that I like.
A.Willis P.2
I think that I like first Andy Goldsworthy then Bill Atkinson, and finally Ansel Adams. I think that I like andy's work better because the idea of just going out into nature to build something just to take a photograph is pretty cool. and Ansel came last on my list because he only took a couple of shots that are being showed and they aren't very exciting and don't catch your eye.
Ian M-W
Period 2
I rate them as Andy Goldsworthy being the first, Bill Atkinson being second, and Ansel Adams being third. I think Andy Goldsworthy is the best because I like all of the color and the portraits of nature. I chose Ansel Adams as third because I am not a huge fan of just the black and white as I am the color from the other two photographers.
B. Ennis Period 2
The idea of the nature photography is super cool. If my job was photography I would do take picture of nature. The guy with the coolest art work is Ansel Adams, My second favorite is Andy Goldsworthy, and last of all Bill Atikinson. But they are all really good.
T. Fischer Period: 2
Id have to pick Ansel Adams being my number 1, their work is more real and it shows architect detail instead of transforming its natural beauty. Andy Goldsworthy would be my 2nd choice he has great ideas for architect. But Bills is my last. His work is too much. Nature should show nature not change colors on it. Its pretty but not my first choice.
A.Lindberg P.2
I think Goldsworthy's photos are number 1, Adams' number 2, and Atkinson's number 3. I think that Goldsworthy's was the best because his pictures are so colorful and pretty. Atkinson came in last because his photos were just trees and I thought that was really boring.
G. Williams P.2
I would say 1 is Bill Atkinson, 2 is Andy Goldsworthy, and 3 is Ansel Adams. I think bill is the best because I thought his photos were very unique and colorful and super cool. I chose Ansel as my last choice because I thought his pictures were dull.
S. Lovell
P.2
#1 in my opinion is Andy Goldsworthy, #2 is Ansel Adams, and #3 is Bill Atkinson. I choose Andy Goldsworthy as the best because i admire is choice in nature photography and his photographs have a little twist to them as in the style the objects are in. I choose Bill Atkinson to be the loser because even though he did have a fantastic choice of color, i did not appreciate not knowing what the object necessarly is but the colors that were captured were well captured.
M.Whitman P-2
1. Ansel
2. Andy
3. Bill
Andy got first because I like the way he captured the shadow of the rick structure against the lower areas.
Andy got second because I like the colors he got but there is no depth to it.
Bill got third because to me the lighting wasn't quite right and it looks kind of fuzzy.
A.Herberger P.2
Bill Atkinson, Ansel Adams, Andy Goldsworthy. I picked Bill as the winner because his pictures are really colorful and in depth. I picked Andy Goldsworthy are the "loser" because his pictures seam a little planned and boring.
T.tinker p2
1st is Ansel Adams, 2nd is Bill Atkinson and last is Andy Goldsworthy. I picked Ansel first because he seems to be trying to recreate the photos that used to go into the old national geographic magazines. Also if you were to go out and take these pictures, you would have to hike all over the world just to get all these pictures. Andy is last because it seems he stays in the same location just waiting for the seasons to change so he can sculpt a new snow statue or leaf collage.
-Jesse, M P2
I ranked Ansel Adams as a 3 because it al just traditional n the same there isn't much difference in his work then others who do the exact same thing. Bill Atkinson is in the middle, Andy Goldsworthy's work gets 1st in my book. Goldworthy's work is unique and beautiful.
~C. West P. 2
I would rank Andy Goldsworth 1, Bill Atkison 3, and Ansel Adams as 2. I like Andy goldworth because his work just looks cooler to me. Atkisons work in my opinion is just to ordinary, it really didn't strike me in any way.
I would rank Bill Atkinson as 1 Andy Goldsworthy 2 and Ansel Adams as 3. I ranked Ansel as the worst because his was dull and nothing was going on in the photo. I ranked Bill as one because the rock balancing on the point of the other rock is pretty cool.
B. Leonetti Per. 3
I would rank Ansel Adams at 3, Bill Atkinson at 1, and Andy Goldsworthy at 2. The worst being the worst because it was very dull. The best being the best because they are very colorful and abstract
!. Bill Atkinson is my favorite because of all the beautiful colors he captures in his photos.
2. Andy Goldsworthy is my second because he captures crazy, unique photos of nature that normal people cant go outside and just see. They also look like they belong is a magazine.
3. Ansel Adams is my least favorite because his photos look like they belong is old newspapers. They are cut and dry angles without any color.
R. Drake Period 3
Bill Atkinson:1
Andy Goldsworthy:2
Ansel Adams:3
I chose Bill Atkinson as the best because I like how unique his pictures are. I didn't like Ansel Adams' photography because it just didn't catch my eye.
M Cordill. Per 3.
I would rank Ansel Adams at 3, Bill Atkinson at 1, and Andy Goldsworthy at 2. The worst being the worst because it was very dull. The best being the best because they are very colorful and abstract.
B. Comiskey P.3
Ansel 3, bill 2, and Andy 1 But they are all cool. Ansel because its classic, and it shows the most emotional its also the grand canyon. Its not my still I don't really like how it looks because it does not show the classic still.
A.Stumbaugh P.3
ansel adams is a 3 because its original and a lot of people do it that way. andy goldsworthy is a 2 because its interesting in a unique way i like it. bill atkinson a 1 because its cool and interesting thats why i rank it one.
I would rate the third pictures with a 1. The best photo is the third one the most because, of the colors. I dislikes the 2nd one because it looks fake.
D Guisinger
p. 3
I would say that Ansel Adams takes the first place because I've been to some of the places he has captured in his images and I would say, even with the lack of color, he captures them vividly.
Bill Atkinson would be second in my book and Andy Goldsworth would come in last. For the most part I think Andy's work is rather odd, and while interesting, couldnt compare to the other two.
J. Brady Per.3
I would rate the third pictures with a 1. The best photo is the third one the most because, of the colors. I dislikes the 2nd one because it looks fake.
D Guisinger
p. 3
My number one would be Andy Goldsworthy, number two: Bill Atkinson, and number three would be Ansel Adams. I think Goldsworthy is the best because all of his photo's are different from each other, like all different angles. I think Ansel is the worst because all of his pictures pretty much look the same, and they're all in black and white. Just boring to me.
S. Kutsch Period 3.
Andy Goldsworthy is #1, Bill Atkinson is #2, and Ansel Adams is #3. I chose Andy to be #1 because i like the different style in the pictures, making evertyhing look different. I chose Ansel as #3 because its highly formal and not really appealing to me at all, i like things to be different and something that catches my eye, which this does not.
1st-Bill 2nd-ansel 3rd-andy
I think Bills work is really creative. To be able to find rocks that look like that, or finding the prefect lighting and spot to take the picture. And Andy came in last because i wasn't fond to his work. it wasn't pretty, but one of the most creative work ive seen.
D.Podloujnyi Per.3
Andy Goldsworthy is first because he took some pictures that are incredible. Bill Atkinson is is my second because he has some absolutley amazing pictures of nature. Ansel Adams is my least favorite I din't really like his work. It seemed to old to me.
R.Jacobs P.3
Bill Atkinson, Andy Glodsworthy, Ansel Adams. Atkinson has really colorful photos that looks amazing. Ansel Adams is last because his are bland looking and a bit boring.
S. Jost Per 3
i liked ansel adams photos the best. i felt that they were very original and most showed conflict between man and nature very well. my least favorite person was andy goldsworthy, his pictures seemed staged and lacked the creativity.
J.Benjamin P.3
Andy Goldsworthy is #1, Bill Atkinson is #2, and Ansel Adams is #3. I chose Andy to be #1 because i like the different style in the pictures, making evertyhing look different. I chose Ansel as #3 because its highly formal and not really appealing to me at all, i like things to be different and something that catches my eye, which this does not.
L.Katzberg period 3
I would rank them as, 1. Andy, 2. Bill, and 3. Ansel. I ranked them this way because, Andy is more modern and artistic. Bill is more postcard looking. And Ansel is just too old school for me.
D. moody Period 3
First place goes to Bill Atkinson, second goes to Ansel Adams, and third Andy Goldsworthy. I chose Bill Atkinson as best because I love the color, structures, and overall look is intriguing to me. I places Goldsworthy third because his work doesn't catch my eye as much and the pictures don't seem very professional or well thought out.
J. Gallagher Per.3
I would rank Ansel Adams first, Andy Goldsworthy second, and Bill Atkinson third. I choice Adams to be first because I love how his photos are black and white. With no color, it leaves you to see what the picture really is, a building, a mountain, ect. and you get to enjoy the picture for what the picture is supposed to be. Atkinson is last because his photos, to me, seemed like they were just like everyone else's. People can tak pictures of leaves or rocks and they would be the same as his photos. Nothing of his work intrigued me.
E. Angier P.3
ansel adams is a 3 because its original and a lot of people do it that way. andy goldsworthy is a 2 because its interesting in a unique way i like it. bill atkinson a 1 because its cool and interesting thats why i rank it one.
S.Snyder P.3
If i had to rank them it would go
1: Bill
2: Andy
3: Ansel
I selected Andy as the best because his photography is bright and vibrant and also is a fun way to think of nature as a bright exotic thing. The Loser.. (my third choice) is Ansel because it was really boring to me and i don't really like black and white photography because it is just a buzz kill i go from having a really happy day to blaaaah black and white boringness.
K. Polkk Period 3
my favorite guy was Bill Atkinson because i thought the rock photo was very unique. my second favorite would have to be Andy Goldsworthy because his was very cool how he mixed all the colors. my last favorite was Ansel Adams because his photos didn't excite me as the other ones did.
B.Nowland P.3
I think that I would give Ansel Adams a one, because it seems like he put a lot of effort on the angle and style of his photo. I would give Bill Atkinson a three, because I enjoyed the photos of Adams and Goldsworthy more than Atkinson's. I would give Goldsworthy a two because i felt that it was the inbetweener for me to look at.
s.young Per.3
Ansel Adams- 3rd
Bill Atkinson -2nd
Andy Goldsworthy-1st !!1
Ansel lost because his stuff is to plain, boring i feel like i could of token those photos. Andy won because he has really cool pictures their so creative. I really enjoyed the shapes and colors in his collection.

Bill Atkinson is my favorite out of all of them because his pictures are colorful and are more fun to look at. Andy Goldsworthy is my second favorite because his pictures are really interesting and nice to look at. Ansel Adams is my last because his pictures are not really colorful & they are boring to me.
S.Orozco P.3
Bill Atkinson,Ansel Adams and Andy Goldsworthy. I selected Bill Atkinson as the best because his photography is very colorful and more in depth than the others. I chose Andy Goldsworthy last because his is really boring to look at and doesn't seem like its very high quality.
E.Wymore Period 3
I would rank Bill atkinson 1st because i like the work that he does with rocks and the rocks he takes photos of, and i think that Ansel adams would be 3rd because his work just seems really plain to me.
September 24th Blog-ABSENT
Number one would be Atkinson's photo, number two would Goldsworthy's, and number three would be Adams' photo. I chose Bill Atkinson's photo to be the best because it's a picture of something that's unusual and unique. I chose Adams to be the worst because I find it boring and "blah."
September 25th Blog
A problem that Clark could have would be having to find a way to take maybe a boring piece of nature and find a way to make it exciting. I think I would buy a book of nature. I think natural things like sunsets and those water shots are really cool and I would enjoy looking at them. I would travel to take pictures of different sunsets I think. They could all look different in different places. Clark could make money off these pictures by giving magazines the approval of using them for articles or something.

I would rank Andy Goldsworthy as the best, then Bill Atkinson, and worst would be Ansel Adams. I think Andy Goldsworthy is the best because I like the way he takes his pictures and I think that they are creative.
